First Step – Create a DNS Zmodo free of charge to access the IP camera:
Zmodo is proud to introduce the dynamic DNS service, which will allow customers to automatically update their public IP address with the server Zmodo and remotely connect to your devices through a user-friendly interface that is easy to use. Getting everything set up is simple and should take only a few minutes.
Second Step – Configuring the IP camera to use ZmodoDNS:
Connect the IP camera to a router using the network cable. Use the software to Run IP Search on your PC, and get the current IP address of your IP camera.
In the IP Camera, navigate to “remote Configuration”, then click on the button to “DDNS”.
Choose “Zmododdns” of the server in the drop-down menu.
Type the name of the domain that is newly registered in the domain field. Make sure the “DDNS” is checked on. Click on “Submit” to save the settings.
Third step – Steering port on the Router:
The default ports that the Zmodo uses are 8000 and 9000
You can use the app Zmodo or ZViewer also.
